Grandmother saves two of three children in Duluth Township fire

Updated: Despite the heroic efforts of a 52-year-old grandmother, a 3-year-old twin girl died in a Duluth Township fire Tuesday night, St. Louis County Undersheriff Dave Phillips said this afternoon.

City asks Duluth residents to cut down water usage

The city of Duluth asked residents Tuesday to stop sprinkling water on their lawns temporarily because of increased demand that has caused a shortage in the city’s water tanks.
